  1. Obey all California and federal fishing regulations
  2. Anglers may fish from the beach or from human powered craft: Kayak, SUP, Float Tube
  3. Only 6 species count towards length total. A fish must be “legal” size, as defined by DFW regulations, before it can be counted.        
  4. Calico Bass (14”)
  5. Halibut (22”)
  6. Surf Perches (5”)
  7. White Seabass (28”)
  8. Sand Bass (14”)
  9. Corbina
  10. Only the six species above will count towards total length.
  11. The Tournament encourages catch and release. There will be a 2” penalty for each fish killed.
  12. Fish will be measured up to the nearest half-inch.
  13. Fish are to be measured by another Tournament participant who will initial tally sheet. If no other angler is present, a “selfie” including tournament tape is required.
  14. The angler catching the greatest number of inches for their top 10 fish will win 1st place as well as 25 additional raffle tickets. The 2nd place finisher will receive 15 additional tickets and the 3rd place finisher will receive 10 additional tickets.
  15. All entrants will be given 5 raffle tickets so every angler has a chance to win.
  16. Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale at $5 each or 5 for $20.
  17. This event will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given.
  18. Judges decision will be final.

 

 

                                         Tournament Morning

 

You must check at Danny’s Deli – 6:00 – 6:30 am (Free city parking lot across from Danny’s at Elm and 9th St.)

There will be a mandatory meeting (about 6:30)

Tally sheets must be returned to Danny’s no later than 11:30, awards and raffle prizes will be awarded immediately after completing the tally.

Free tri-tip sandwich lunch will be available from 11:30 -12:00
