In 2009, our first No Motor Tournament was held in Carpenteria, California. It not only provided an opportunity for fishers of all types and their clubs to get together for a day of fishing but also to raise money for a cause that helped the environment and the fishery. The main rule is contestants use only "human power" to fish; catch and release is highly encouraged.
